Application Documents & Preparation
MARIHE’s two-phase document submission allows you to focus first on your core application materials, then prepare additional materials only if you advance to the second round. This approach reduces initial preparation burden while ensuring we have comprehensive information about our most competitive candidates.

To minimize unconscious biases during the review process, please do not include a personal photograph (portrait) into your CV. The identification document and the English test certificate which will contain a personal photograph will only be considered during the formal eligibility check, but not during the first step of the review process.
Phase 2 Documents (1 Required)
Video
A short video with a maximum duration of two minutes.
After each review stage, you’ll be notified of your status. The first review results in shortlisting for scholarship, self-funded, or rejection. The second review determines your final placement on main lists, reserve lists, or rejection.
Application Submission Process
After preparing your Phase 1 documents, submit your complete application through our dedicated online portal. This is the exclusive submission method for MARIHE applications – we cannot accept materials sent via email or other channels. The portal provides secure document handling and automatic confirmation of receipt. Should you experience any technical issues during submission, contact our MARIHE Secretariat at marihe@donau-uni.ac.at for assistance.
