Overview About Current Projects

To achieve its objectives and develop its identity as a newly established network, the MARIHE Alumni Network currently focuses on four interrelated strands of work:

  • MARIHE Community Calls: aims to build a community by connecting alumni in informal webinar-like series featuring diverse professional experiences in academia, policy, international organizations or the business sector.
  • MARIHE Alumni Mapping Project: seeks to develop a comprehensive database of MARIHE alumni to support the MARIHE Alumni Board’s vision of fostering alumni engagement for professional growth and networking, while also contributing to the MARIHE consortium’s educational and strategic goals of developing higher education professionals and leaders. >> Take part in the MARIHE Alumni Mapping survey here.
  • MARIHE Alumni Mentorship Initiative: connects current MARIHE students (second year) and recent graduates with experienced alumni and relevant professionals working in diverse higher education sectors. The aim is to provide career insights, tailored guidance, and foster a supportive professional network, acting as a key bridge for smooth transitions from study to career.
  • MARIHE Alumni Brand Building: seeks to build and promote a strong, recognizable brand identity for the MARIHE Alumni Network, one that reflects its global character, shared values, and professional excellence.
