Student Participation Costs
(This information is valid for student intakes 2025, 2026, 2027, 2028.)
Participation in the MARIHE programme is possible either:
- with an Erasmus Mundus Scholarship (more information here)
- OR as a non-scholarship holder/self-funded student
The participation fee for the whole study period of four semesters is:
- For scholarship holders AND self-funded participants: EUR 18 000
- For holders of an Erasmus Mundus scholarship, the participation fee is covered by the scholarship.
- NEW (until further notice): Self-funded participants do not have to pay the participation fee either, since the Consortium decided to waive this fee, based on the new funding structure.
What is included?
The participation fee includes:
- participation in all classes offered within the MARIHE curriculum
- support in administrative and organisational issues by the consortium partners
- costs for enrollment at the consortium partner's institutions
- all examinations
- issueing of the final diploma
For holders of an Erasmus Mundus scholarship, an emergency and accident insurance according to the minimum requirements of the Erasmus+ Programme is also included.
What is not included?
The participation fee does not cover:
- travel costs from country of origin
- travel costs because of the mobilities
- travel documents (passport, visas)
- accommodation and living expenses
- all other costs (e.g. study books, stationery, photocopies, excursions etc.)
For these costs, holders of an Erasmus Mundus scholarship will receive contributions to travel, installation and subsistence costs (more information here).
